THANK YOU ... YOU MADE SENCE WITH ALL THIS BURUCRACY CRAP ABOUT BEING AN HERO FOR GOING TO IRAQ.
THE ARMY 70 YRS AGO MEANT SOMETHING
HAD FEELINGS, YOU WERE PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN AND BE FIGHTING IN A WAR LIKE WWII.
LETS ME SAY THIS, MY GRANDFATHER WAS A PROUD AMERICAN FOR GOING TO EUROPE AND HELP END A WAR IN 1942 AFTER PEARL HARBOR.
MY FATHER WAS SUPPOSE TO GO TO VIETNAM AND FIGHT FOR SOMETHING STILL TODAY I DONT GET WHAT THE HELL WHERE WE THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. BUT SINCE HE HAD 3 KIDS HE DIDNT GOT GO, BUT I REMEMBER MUST OF HIS FRIENDS RETURNING BACK FROM THIS WAR AND THEY WERE NEVER THE SAME.
TODAY, THE ARMY DOES NOT HAS THE SAME MEANING THAT THEY ONCE HAD.
MY OPINION, IRAQ IS A CONTINUATION FROM WHAT VIETNAM WAS 32 YRS AGO. AGAIN WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DOING THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?
SOME SAY THAT UNITED STATES IS FIGHTING FOR OIL, OTHERS SAY IS REVENGE FOR WHAT HAPPEND 9-11-01.

I disagree with you because you are a f'ing moron. Quit watching CNN and listening to Liberals and actually talk to some of the troops before you make such a treasonous statement. It is people like you who piss me off that OUR troops are fighting for your liberty and freedom to try to tear them down with your liberal propaganda. Every soldier that has come home from Iraq has told me and will tell your uneducated a** the same thing---the American media is portraying only the view they choose to. They won't tell you about the "innocent" plain clothes Iraq citizens shooting at them all day, or the constant threat of car bombs at any time and any place. God I wish you and everyone like you were living in a country where you were not afforded all the freedoms you have here. Sadam and his administration would have killed you on the spot for writing something like you wrote here. Everyone of our troops is a hero and the day you are not free you will understand why. Maybe you should go read about the chemical attack Sadam and his government waged on its own people. Over 600,000 people died. Wait, I guess your right, there problem, not ours. I am glad the French didn't see it that way during the American Revolution or you might still be British. You sicken me.

I don't think that it's a matter of killing or not. I think that anyone that goes to a place in the world that hates them to protect people back home should be honored. Whether the trip over their actually protects people back home or not is another debate. Only the select few at the top get to make any sort of decisions, the majority of the troops only get to do what they are told, and they were told to go and do what they have done. You can't blame the troops for what the leaders tell them... If you are going to blame someone, blame the people that told them to go.

I somewhat agree I don't believe the US should have troops in Iraq. But I have respect for the men and women risking their lives. They are heroes, maybe not for the war they are fighting but they are heroes for serving our country.

Every person fighting for me in Iraq is my hero and should be yours. If they weren't fighting for us over there the enemy would be over here fighting on American soil. The soldiers are fighting for something they love , America. Your question makes me sad especially when in today's paper a young man of 21 in our town died so that I might have freedom. Shame on you!!!!!!!!! In every war innocent people are killed. The soldiers hate it more than we do I'm sure.

You got a lot of nerve disrespecting our service men. While I don't agree with what we are doing over there, I have nothing but respect for the men and women serving our country. They risk their lives so that you can sit at your computer and type your post in peace.

did you forget about 9/11 ? innocent deaths. my husband is a soldier as well as many of our friends, which would you rather have?- invaders in our country, killing, rapeing ,murdering, genicide? or have our brave and proud go and protect the only way we can to show no way that we willput up with our country falling victim to third-world ignorance and dictatorship. i'm proud of my husband, brother-in-law, friends and neighbors.

have you joined any of the armed services and went over to iraq yourself?
then you know nothing because you have not experienced it and you're only saying things based on what you have seen on television and what others like you try to preach.
WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE. stop being humble, you are not that great.
