Download iTunes free software to your computer. Then download music CD's or import mp3's to the library and sync them to your iPod. There are user guides and FAQ here http://zapmusic.blogspot.com for iPods and iTunes.

if you use itunes buy songs on itunes store or download CD's you have...and update your ipod by plugging it into the computer
