I really want to know because in the movie he uses two arms then one and then he uses none i am really confused. Can someone please ansewr my question.

it all depends, technically he doesnt use them at all. he simply flies. in some cases when not carrying Lois, or a airplane, he will extend one to steer his flight when going really fast, and use both when intending to fly into something. You have to understand his typical approach to problems: I
f something is in his way: Hit it.
If it is still there: Hit it Harder.
