that was a tear-jerker!!! i watched it with my husband two weeks after he returned home from deplyment in december. i loved the ending.... i was expecting the worse, but for a nice change the ending wasnt all tragic. we dont hear too many "happy endings" (not that there really is any happy ending when dealing with 9/11) and it was heartwarming to actually see hope conquer fear. a

You know, I thought it was an okay movie, but not that great. Why?
1) Besides Nicholas Cage, I thought all the other actors were bad.
2) The movie had such a happy ending - I don't know, I just didn't feel it really capture the tragedy of that day. While those two families had a happy ending, what about the thousands of families that didn't?

I watched it and had barely any emotions (which is unusual). I think United 93 has more relevance and emotional impact by keeping the star appeal away.

It was pretty good but I would have showed more of the families hardships then concentrating so much of the movie on Nic Cage and co-star...that was a bit boring.
