I went to Darlows and spoke to their mortgage advisor. My boyfriend and I don't earn very much so they found a mortgage broker that would accept tax credits and, not that we have any, benefits. Just go to a mortgage advisor at Darlows, they were really good with us. I think my mortgage is with Basinghall.

I don't know which country you are in but in Canada, a mortgage broker is the answer. They shop around and get you the best rate and the best qualifying bank. Try doing a google search for your location.
