Andrew Symonds.

Because he can bat, bowl and field.

Even if he fails with the bat, you can usually expect him to bowl a few tight overs, and get an occasional wicket. He is also a world class fielder.

Michael Hussey. The complete batsmen who is suitable in any situation. Has a batting record better than Ponting, which is quite substantial itself. One of the greatest cover drivers to have ever played the game, which is an extremely important shot in the one-day version of the game.

Although unproven, I believe Nathan Brackan is a great one-day bowler. Unfortunately he propably won't get an oppurtunity to make a permanent spot in the team with McGrath, Lee and Stuart Clarke in the team.

I have to agree with Gypsy on this one....Andrew Symonds.

He has the ability to alter the course of the game in the field, with the ball or with the bat. I'll never forget his 143 in Jo'burg 2003, or even his 156 in NZ in 2005, where he played with maturity to steer the team to safety before unleashing a barraeg that put the team in a winning position.

Ricky Ponting.

It's a hard question in fact because its between Ricky Ponting for his bat and his courageous dives for catches, Michael Hussey bat and miraculous catches and Andrew Symonds for those SIXES and bowling and fielding.
