Wow, I never heard a scientist talk about that. I'll guess not for at LEAST like 40 billion years.
It wil go red giant in about 5 billion, become a white dwarf soon after. As for disappearing, I can only guess a loooong time.

In about 5 billion years the sun will undergo a radical transformation into a redgiant, after that its core will continue to glow as a white dwarf. In billions of more years it will dim into a brown dwarf. In 20 billion years (according to one theory) all matter in the universe will be torn apart by the accelerating effects of dark energy.

It won't disappear, but in about 4.5-billion years it will end its life as a white dwarf star with a diameter about the same as Earth. Some folks around here will try to tell you that the sun is going to explode, but don't believe it!

proceed on in a potential line ( different than insofar because it somewhat is effected through different gravitational fields that still exist like another planets) as quickly as the gravitational container of the sunlight is long previous, with the aid of fact the fee of gravity and the fee of sunshine are theoretically equivalent this ought to be after approx 8 minutes. for sure if the sunlight disappeared with the aid of fact it had grow to be a black hollow ( i understand, no longer great sufficient, does not exceed the Chandrasekhar cut back) we ought to locate ourselves spiraling inward fairly.

In around 6 billion years the sun will enter its last phase of existence and expand into a red giant, vaporizing mercury, venus, earth, and possibly mars. It will then cool and shrink, until it exhausts all of its energy, and will die alone and cold, floating endlessly in space.

Well, I really don't know, but I've heard that every 400 years, the sun will get closer to the earth 1mm.
