Money is always there or it is borrowed. Our next generations will have to deal with this debt.
And yes it absolutely hurts us in all those areas and more. These politicians must be held accountable. It is not their personal health which is decling.

The country of Hungary is in some sort of trouble? That's news to me. Anyway, I don't think the U.S will have have free health care so I don't think money used to fight a war to keep peace is really being misspent.

first of all, ninety% of that funds is going to Iraq basically. the different 10 billion would be spent in Afghanistan. i think of that giving funds to Afghanistan is nice as long because of the fact the Afghan government would not remember fullyyt on the US for economic stability. in spite of each thing, it incredibly is the country that holds lots of the terrorists that are nevertheless being widespread with the aid of NATO, for the reason that Bush is obviously searching for something else and not bin encumbered. additionally, if Afghanistan does get rebuilt and stabilized, the worldwide community will a minimum of be grateful to usa for that, which is composed of the Arab international. Iraq might desire to be left on my own. If their human beings elect to kill one yet another, nice. i did not see the British or French coming to usa to attempt to stop our civil warfare.

If the money spent on the war in Iraq were actually doing us ANY GOOD (BS like "protecting our freedom" or "keeping terrorism in check"), then I'd be all for it. But we all know nothing of the sort is being accomplished. The only good this money is doing is enriching Dick Cheney and his defense contractor buddies and the greasy oilmen buds of W. The WORST part of this atrocity is that no money has been appropriated by Congress to pay for the war - it's all on credit funded by the Chinese and Saudis who will one day call in their markers and bankrupt our children and grandchildren. Free healthcare will be the least of our worries then. You people who actually believe the Iraq war is any good whatsoever really need to go over there and put your money where your mouths are! (or send your sons and daughters - you can enlist up to age 45 now you know, without much of background check!)

We're surviving. I don't think you can put a price tag on freedom. My selfish needs are secondary to the turmoil terrorists inflict on Innocent people.
