Definitely!!!!!!!! I heard a saying a while ago that has helped through my "Working Years".

"If you can make a dollar for something you love doing, you will never have to work a day in you life".

So true.
Another is "Wages give you a living, Profits give you a lifestyle!"

You could be on great money working for the man but if you come home and kick your dog the J.O.B (just over broke) ain't worth it.

I work online for myself and enjoy everyday of it. I just wish I found it years earlier.

Thanks for the question

See you at the Bank!!

I think it should. Remember that time spent at work in a week is more than time spent at home or anywhere unless you are on leave. Its better then to find a job which will give you satisfction because you can enjoy yourself for most of the time. After all, a boring thing to do will make your thinking capacity go down, make you lose concentration and this might lead to losing interest with your life. You only live once so enjoy yourself find something to make you happy by letting the pay package come second. Assume you are told to be getting £50000 a month for just coming to work and sitting down doing nothing for the whole week, are you going to take the job because the money for the month is good? You might say yes, but what will happen to your thinking capacity as you continue sitting idle, what about your skills and Knowledge acquired? Think about all these.

If you work in a high paid job you hate, you become accustomed to the hate and fear moving on to something more enjoyable and potentially more rewarding due to maintaing all the material things you have obtained in your job, it can also lead to depression and finally sacking.
However if you have job satisfaction after a while your mind starts to think of ways to improve what you are doing causing you to become innovative.
Ultimately all jobs become boring in the end and the only way to truely have job satisfaction is to try out new things so the question is redundant

DEFINATELY!!! If you are making $100,000 a year and you dread the thought of going to work, what good is the money? I would rather make less and enjoy going to work and doing my job because then it's not so much like work. If you can live within your means the money is secondary of importance. If you have to toss and turn at night worrying about job security, that money is not going to help you live a satisfying life.

Yes
you spend a third of your time at work. Would you put up with a bed that always made you uncomfortable? Would you live in a home that you hated if you could change it? Would you spend your free time hanging out with people you don't like or doing stuf that you hated? You spend as much time at work as you do anywhere else, so it's a really important factor in your quality of life. And money? Do you know anyone who has enough so that they can say it makes them happy? Well, do ya?

YESSSS!
I've chased the buck. Made good money while being miserable. Never again. I do ok now, but have a higher quality of life. Even with all the money, I didn't have time to spend it and would feel guilty if I did.
