At stop lights my car will idle worse than it used to. If i put in neutral, it smoothes out. It will also smooth out if i take my foot off the brake.
Everything is new, plugs, cap, rotor, wires, IAC valve, oil, tranny fluid, exhaust...not o2 sensors, but check engine light isnt on.
EEC reads 96 (fuel pump curcuit fault, battery to ecu)
My car still gets 20 mpg.

The brakes seem fine, but could it be the brake booster?

If putting it in neutral and letting off the brake stops the problem then it's a transmission issue. Probably your torque converter if you have an automatic and your clutch if you have a manual.

One thing that you might look into is the motor and transmission mounts. Also check for any vacuum leaks as it would cause the engine to run lean at idle. If the car has an egr system on the engine it is possible for the valve to stick slightly open allowing some exhaust gas to flow into the cylinders.

try some injector cleaner and replace your vacuum hoses, is your fuel pressure low ?
