I'm not surprised so many Christians are intolerant. Jesus said a lot of great things, but he also quite an *** when he wanted to be one.
Mark 11:12-14, 19-25, Jesus kills a fig tree for not having any figs ("because it was not the season for figs") to teach his disciples a lesson. Note, he could just as easily have healed the tree, but apparently decided killing stuff was more flashy.
I repeat. Jesus said a lot of great things. Love thy neighbor, etc, that good people should live by (although a lot of people have said it before Jesus). He also did a lot of bad things. So I'm not really surprised at the bigotry.

OK, so swearing on the Koran is making war on the United States? Pleae tell me where in the Constitution Jesus is mentioned. God is mentioned, but as many of the Founding Fathers were Deists, and not Christians, they weren't referring to the Christian God, but God as spiritual idea.

If you are a Christian, you also understand that these are probably the last times. The Bible clearly says that man will become more and more perverted and unmoral every time until God loses his patience. We cannot stop this from happening, since it is a prophecy. But before it happens, we have to share the gospel with everyone we can to get as many souls as we can to be saved. Same deal with gay marriage, it is eventually going to be legal and those of us who oppose it will be seen as "bigots," but again this must happen for Jesus Christ to return. So just keep witnessing, standing up for what you believe, and God Bless!

You are entitled to your beliefs but many came here to escape the religious persecution! That is why there is a clause in the Constitution. If there weren't, the Catholic Church would probably be the rulers of this country, and that is what our forefathers did not want! Nor did they want the government ruling over churches and peoples practice of religion!
I think a lot of people thought like you, but religion should stay out of politics! They have enough to worry about with their wayward priests!

Well you may or may not be a bigot, but you are misinformed. The US was founded on the principles of Deism (look up your "Founding Fathers", don't take my word for it, but most of them were not "Christians"!).
The Constitution was (very cleverly) written to prevent the kind of "one-track" thinking you are guilty of. The reason the US is here at all is because the Pilgrims came here to get away from that kind of crap, King George was busy trying to bully THEM into accepting the kind of "one true path" nonsense you are espousing!
PS Do you know WHOSE Qu'uran it was that fella took his oath on? It used to belong to a man called Thomas Jefferson. Maybe you've heard of him?

your assessment of yourself is wrong you are a bigot because you are stupid. read the preamble of the constitution. but the problem is you cannot read. an interpretation of the first amendment to the constitution is as follows: you have the right to be a moron if you so choose!!!!!!

If you're brave enough to be a bigot, let's hope you're brave enough to face the consequences of being one, openly, not hiding like a worthless coward.
