Cali,I've researched this question endlessly.I spend most of my days in hospitals, where cell phone reception can be extremely poor. Rather than recommend a cell phone, I can tell you without a doubt, which cell phone BRAND works best with Verizon cell service: LG! Which LG phone you buy, depends on how much you want to spend! Another way to double check this is to visit a Verizon store and check out the phones the associates are using! Remember, they get great discounts (so they can afford to buy even expensive phones). BUT they know which phones get the best reception AND which phones people are bringing in frequently for repair! Don't ASK them which phone they recommend because remember that they make a commission by selling phones! Look at the phones they have clipped to their belts or ask! I'll bet the LG stands out! A great source for phone info is www.phonescoop.com. This website is awesome. Good luck.

LG is a good brand, but if you ask VZW Technical Support, you will generally be told that the Samsung brand is the most signal sensitive.

Awesome Phone
by JENI729
I have had this phone for about 4 weeks now and I love it. It is such an improvement from the LG vx9800 which I used as well. It really is such a smart phone. It does pretty much everything...
Pros:
Great screen quality
Nice interior key pad
Great battery life
Not standard UI
Awesome Camera
Loud ringers
Great video recorder
Speakerphone option when phone is open
Cons:
Verizon service is horrible where I live!!!!
The phone itself does not have a lot of memory. I have hardly nothing on it and it says memory full, so now I have to buy a memory card. 16 pictures is all it can hold without a card.
Overall this is an awesome phone. I am very happy with it. I just wish another carrier who works in my area had this phone. It looks great, feels great, and is great. Its EnVious. I love it!!!! Don't hesitate on this phone. Go out and get it.

First off this is a great phone! If you like to text this is definately the phone for you!
Pros:
-2.0mp camera w/flash
-Bluetooth which also allows stereo bluetooth headset!
-Great main screen
-Talk time 4+ hours with standard battery
-Doesnt freeze up like any of the moto's
-Text to speech is a great tool to impress your friends
-Speakerphone is clear and crisp
-Signal is great!
Cons:
-Outer screen is a little smaller then I would like
-Cannot use speakerphone while clamshell is closed
-Cover for charge port is a little on the flimsy side
-Email button
The pro's greatly outweigh the cons so if you are deciding on a great overall phone I would pick this one up!
If you have your heartset on a flip phone though I would recommend the 8600!

None. Mine didn't work in my area. They made it very very difficult to end any contract I had with them!!
