Would you buy a car before test driving it... Would you buy the first house you looked at without checking out other houses. Would you only eat at the same restaurant everyday. No would be your answer to all these questions... so why would you not experience the one thing that would be a deciding factor if you are to stay true to the person if you get married... Be sensible and safe and most of all respectable... Just because someone enjoys sex and has sex before they get married doesn't mean they are bad... It just means they have a good head on their shoulders and want to live a happy satisfying sexual relationship with their life partner because when it is all said and done In the bedroom is the only time that most men and women who are married will spend quality time together and it would be really sad to think that they never knew how to really satisfy the other because they had no previous experience or anyone to really teach them the tricks of a satisfying sexually experience..

There is nothing wrong with mature sex between consenting adults. The problems with sex all involve people who are too young or too immature, people who don't take the necessary safety precautions and people who think about nothing other than sex.
But sex is a fantastic way to relate to another person. I would suggest that if there was more reasonable sex in the world today that things might be a lot better.
Think about it

Premarital sex is very important & I think it is better that people practice it seriously. Unless each person in a relationship knows how sexually compatible they are, there is no point in pursuing the relationship further.
The reason why a lot of people were against (and some still are) premarital sex is because of the religious hangover from the past generations. In the traditional times, marriages were arranged & opposite sexes were segregated. So, the taboo towards sex outside marriage was primarily done to ensure the above. I know several couples in my extended family who had arranged marriages & from what I have heard, a lot of them are not sexually compatible with each other, but they never spoke out to anyone about that because of their fear & discipline towards the elders.
But this is the 21st century & we are moving ahead of the religious past, so I think premarital sex should not be taboo anymore.

boring and drab. I read a study not too long ago that said something like 95% of americans have had premarital sex. Maybe not exactly 95 but it was a ridiculously high number. I have had sex before marriage and its an experience. Everyone is different. Just makes life interesting!

Actually, I think there would be MORE divorce!
People need to know if they are sexually compatible before they take that big step. What if the person you marry is only ummm..."excited" if you wear a Nascar driver suit and black pumps, for instance? Or a diaper & pacifier? Or they want 2x a day, you want 2x a month?
You wouldn't buy a CAR without a "test drive"--why take a mate without the same thing?

Well i guess then relationships would be built on friendships and growing love and they would take time to work on things. Sex can complicate so many things for a realtionship and they you have the chance for unwanted pregnancy, blind passion and so on. I am glad that we can take chances and even make mistakes these days. To truely know a person completely is to know them inside and out, through and through. Sex is only a part of a marriage but can definately make it much more intimate and soulful. I love sex dont get me wrong but it is just a small part of the circle. But now let us get back to the real world and think of all the sad sad men who would be left to jerk off to magazines and movies.... SMILE

Ask Ted Haggart.
Sorry for the political statement, but if todays christians were more vocally against wars and poverty rather than be so obsessed with things of a sexual nature, imaging how great the church would represent the true nature of christ.

I'm not religious so think sex before marriage is fine and I'm guilty of it.
For religious people it's different, each to their own, I can understand that.
