1. Medical devices - like a simple glucose testers all the way to replacement parts like plastic heart valve. Not to mention the simple things like toothbrushes, the lens in your glasses, etc

2. Vehicles - plastic parts are all through out the modern vehicles. From body panels to engine & transmissions parts.

3. Clothing items - Many of the fabrics are some form of plastic like nylon and polyester.

4. Household appliances like TV, refrigerators, coffee makers, etc. It might have a parts made out of it or just filled with a expanded polystyrene foam insulation.

5, Sporting goods and toys - Like the polyurethane wheels on a skateboard to parts on a bicycle. Or that plastic toy you might be playing with.

6. In your house. From the PVC pipes to the plastic laminated counter tops or flooring.

7. The common items at work. Pens, coffee cups, CD's that your saving your info on.

8. Packaging - Like that jug of milk in the frigerator or bottled water you might be drinking.

9. Your common electronic items - Guess what your Ipod and computers are made from? Yep plastic. Do you know what the insulation on wire is made from? Well it is plastic too. Just look around plastic is everywhere.

10. The unknown plastic uses - Even some of the items that you see could have been made with plastic. How's that?¿? Well there is a process called metal injection molding also called MIM. Basically this is a fine metal partical mixed in with plastic. Then the parts are mold. Once this is done the item is heated up to melt of the plastic leaving the metal part. Anything pretty much can be made from this. Car parts, hosehold items even orthodontic braces can be done with this process.
