It is possible but it takes time depending on how the trust was lost if it had to do with cheating and you truly love someone it would take along time for me it would take years.

Good question. The answer is no. I trusted my husband 110% when we were dating. He cheated on me, I forgave him. I married him still. I never forgot what he did OR ever trusted him the same since. That was 21 yrs ago. It will never be the same again.

I don't know....we got divorced before there was a chance to gain it back. Had we tried, I seriously doubt it. I think alot has to do with how the trust was broken.

For me personally---no.
There isn't enough time in a life to earn my trust back once you lose it. But I give it pretty easily in the beginning.

I definitely do not think so. It may be possible to partially accept him/her and trust them with minor things, however, I feel that once someone has significantly lost your trust, its gone.

If the other is trustworthy and doesn't mind that you verify that your trust is legitimate as it returns, perhaps you can. It's not easy though.
