Yes but you can't blame them on this one. Anywhere you would have taken it the chemicals used to flush out the radiator will also flush out the heater core. Any scale or buildup would have broken free and some of this may have been plugging the leak in the heater core. Even the flush kits you buy at the store would have done the same.

YES....and never go to gippy lube again....any idiot can change oil and filter..... if your car is approx. 8 or 10 years old the the heater core is rusted on the inside of the pipes and flushing the radiator did cause this problem as they pressured cleaner and solvent thru the cooling system of your ride... not much can be done to jiffy lube and you signed a waiver for them to "screw up"" --- uh! I mean work on your can ___ they should have explained the ins and outs of the work to help you avoid this exact problem __ sorry for you that they didn't ....>>> it could be that the state you live in has some laws that work in your favor and you should try to find out if that's a possible solution.... you did not tell us what state you live in as this does have bearing on the best answer to your question...good luck

i mechanic for a living,,and this might have happened anyway especially if it had some stop leak in it that might have gotten cleaned away from a tiny pin hole in the heater core, so it may have leaked on anyone who done it,,i do this 6 days a week ,and i always warn customers of the dangers in doing this,,but its just one of those things, you just get a heater core put in it,,and call it a good learning experience,,that's about all you can do in this situation,,good luck with it,i hope this help,s.

Technicly yes they caused it b/c they use pressure to push out all the old coolant and it probably finished off what was left of your core. You can't put the blame on them though b/c if your core was so bad off that a flush would kill it then it's your fault for not keeping your car in good repair.
