My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love playing Santa and filling stockings. I love baking cookies and fudge. But most of all I celebrate Christ's birth. I read the Christmas story to my children and grandchildren. I try to give blessings as I have received so many.

Christmas. Love getting together with family, going to see the lights, cooking, opening presents, just everything about it. The World seems to be more at PEACE during that time of year than any other time.

Thanksgiving ...because:
1. its not overcomericalized
2. it is centered around food, family and friends.
3. it is a holiday that unites americans, regardless of our religious beliefs we can all come together and commemorate our blessings.
4. it is a unique American holiday(that i am aware of).

any Holiday when we honor the ladies and gentlemen who have, are, and will continue to lay their lives on the line every day to preserve the U.S.A. each and every veteran needs our respect and thanks for what they have, are and will continue to do. all gave some and some gave all -- what better Holiday than when we can show some gratitude ?
