i've almost done it but as i was downloading the movie i got to 12MB then it said i dont have enough memory in the file i selected to store it in, which is impossible as i checked it before i started & i had 13GB (the movie is 4.3GB)
Also i am using azureus, is this better than utorrent
how can i get the whole film downloaded.

Hmmm it may be just that there arn't any seeds, so your download won't finish, or you don't have enough system memory for the torrent program... and azureus is a fine program, or you should buy a new hard drive..

Azureus is larger and some people find it slower than utorrent. They are both good torrent clients but azureus probably has a lot of options you don't need. Personally I find if I am using utorrent I can't use the internet for anything else but don't have this problem with azureus.

as to memory it sounds like azureus is running so you have enough memory to run it. You may not be able to save a 4.3gb file if you are not using NTFS filesystem. is the movie a single file or is it split into smaller files?

If you are running xp you can convert the filesystem to ntfs really easily got go start > run > cmd and on the comand prompt type convert C: /fs:ntfs you may have to reboot to complete this. You won't lose any data.

That is because you are downloading a file over 4GB, and using FAT32 as your filesystem.

FAT32 cannot have files over 4GB in size. You must convert your partition to NTFS in order to have files that large. If you are using windows NT, 2000, or XP, then you can convert your partition to NTFS with the convert command, which is safe to do, from the command prompt.

start > run > cmd

At the command prompt, type: convert c: /fs:ntfs

(Assuming it's the C: drive you want to convert)

utorrent is better but i dont know how it really works but i do know you can adjust settings in utorrent and maybe its faster because it has simplier functions.

some torrents download faster because they have more seeders and peers downloading and uploading together so make sure you find the one with the most seeders and peers.

and the file you downloaded is only 4.3 GB because your system file is fat32 and NTFS is the updated version of the file systems and look at Mack D, above me for the instructions.
