There is nothing much you can do. It will take a while to adjust to being single again. If you have children, spend as much time with them as you are able. If there are no children, spend time with family. Find someone you can talk to, preferably someone who can relate to what you are going through. Loneliness, emptyness and doubt will be your close friends for a while. These are normal feelings you will experience. Put things in perspective, and do not blame yourself. You are alive and living better than 88% of the rest of the world. Find reasons to be happy for the things you have. The things that matter. Engage in a new hobby or something that you have always wanted to do. Be positive, the best is yet to come.

First know that it is normal to feel depressed.
I would suggest trying to think only positive things and start exploring the possibilities with your new freedom. Reassure yourself that you are going to find a new happiness that you have yet to experience and your on a road to success. Stay away from some things that bring back to many sappy memories and look forward to a new day! Empower yourself!!!

Grieving because of divorce is normal, even if you are the one that wanted it. It's a process that you must go through. It will lessen with time, but for now, don't be too hard on yourself. Cry if you want to. Fill your time with things that bring you happiness.

I went out with the guys to celebrate when I got mine. Why are you depressed? I felt the need to celebrate. For the first time in my life, I was FREE to live!

LET YOURSELF GRIEVE. DIVORCE IS A DEATH OF SORTS AND VERY PAINFUL. MAYBE YOU COULD DO SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL FOR YOURSELF TODAY. IT IS COMPLETELY NORMAL TO FEEL WHAT YOU ARE FEELING, BUT KNOW ALSO THIS TOO SHALL PASS AND THE PAIN DOES LESSEN. LOVE YOURSELF AND HAVE A REALLY GOOD CRY. GOD IS THERE WITH YOU AND CRIES FOR YOU. I WILL THINK OF YOU AND BE PRAYING FOR A HEALING IN YOUR LIFE,IT WILL HAPPEN IN GOD'S TIME THO. TAKE A WALK, IT'S STILL BEAUTIFUL OUT THERE. AND YOU ARE STILL BEAUTIFUL IN THERE!

Talk about it with someone you trust. Try not to isolate. Stay busy and get out of the house to spend time with family and friends.
