Sorry to hear about your Smitfraud infection, that is a very nasty pest to remove.
Now for a bit of friendly advice. Keeping your Windows (and Internet Explorer and Outlook Express) updated and patched is just as important as choosing and using an anti-virus program. Microsoft updates will help prevent these viruses, trojans and other malware before your computer gets infected. And as you have just found out, prevention is a lot easier than the cure!
Microsoft issues new Critical Updates on the second Tuesday of every month. (Yes, that IS this upcoming Tuesday). Either set your computer for automatic updating or be sure and visit the Windows Update website at least once a month!
My Windows XP computer has almost 60 of these critical updates .
Don't just rely on your anti-virus and your anti-spyware to remove the "nasties" after your computer is infected.
Keep your computer updated monthly, NEVER disable your firewall even for a minute and NEVER lower your default security settings for any reason.
Your computer will thank you!
Good luck.

Yes. Microsoft Windows has many critical security flaws. Some of them get patched each month. You must always install these patches as well as use your firewal, anti-virus, anti-spwate, anti-adware and anti-trojan protection software.
Avoid the use of Microsoft Internet Explorer. Use Mozilla Firefox as a replacement.

Geordiegi this file is hidden on your PC. You can't get rid of it with any AntiSpyware or Antivirus. But there is hope. What you do is go to start then see run type in Regedit. Then you see edit. HKEY CURRENT USER open it and you see go down and see Microsoft, open it Now see the file called MSO6-O72 delete it. Make sure your network is turned off when doing this. When you have deleted the file close down your pc. Example restart but press the F8 on your keyboard. When it open up. Close it down again and restart it.

My account recieved a virus called trojan horse where they try to wipe your bank account if you have details entered on line,if so do anti-spy and check your account, not on-line though and notify your bank. My bank froze my account as any transaction has to be arranged by me personally first, one service i accepted when i set up my business account.
