What city are marriage records kept?

Most marriage licenses are kept in the county they are issued in the GREAT state of Michigan. If you know the city they got married in you can check county records.

They have an area for licenses

I would say go to your local Court Building,i' sure you can get some info there or they can tell you where you need to go. If the person got married in there home town and the state of MI, it will be on file at the local Court Building.

Not sure...I would start with the capitol, Lansing. Then go to the county building where the lived and try there.
