should be for love.. but every once in a while you get a real idot like me who marrys because they want children and a family ...only to find out that what you wanted was the kids with out the husband...or at least the husband you picked.. i just believe that you have to have a hubby first

earlier it was necessary for the existence of human kind.
Now it is not necessary becoz now science can do it, e.g. clonning, test tube baby etc
But we are social beings. e'body wants love, attachment, sex & emotional feelings. These all things lead u to marriage.
