When I've tried to do this using Toast Titanium, it tells me the format is unsupported. I am using a Macintosh Powerbook.

Hi Katherine S,

Of course you know that Apple has worked closely with the movie (as well as the music) industry to be able to get movies and music, but at the same time to curb copyright piracy.

Have you tried the File > Export... menu command in iTunes? You should get a Save dialog box for you to save your movie file to.

mpg 4 is a format used by apple , i dont think you can rip it off on a dvd , they usually do that to prevent piracy and to keep the apple collection unique .

Although i reckon there are any converters out there that would convert a mpg4 format

There are different file formats. .AVI, .MPG i.e
What you need to do is find the right program that will support copying the format that you have.

If it's protected, you have to get a license to burn it or copy it. Did you back up your license from I-Tunes?
