i dont believe its as bad as they say, its just their newest agenda. all of a sudden its the #1 topic and it has to be stopped now, or else were all gonna die. 2-3 years ago it was not talked about nearly as much. Politicians need to have an agenda to keep themselves busy. I believe cfc's may cause a slight rise in temperature, but democrats will blow it out of proportion to look like theyre into saving the environment and republicans will deny it for the benefit of business. natural climate change has more to do with the rise in temperature, as it goes through cycles. back in the 70s and 80s they predicted another ice age coming as it was a cold cycle. someone asked what do they get by scaring us. the answer is they get what they want, in this case it may be more power for the epa, or a change in laws. overall they get a legacy. Al gore lost the election, im sure he's like to be remembered for something else, like saving the planet from global warming

If it was real the oceans would have been dry ten years ago according to the prophecies of algore . It's a tactic used primarily by the far left . Liberals have an agenda to put more government in your life ; more control ; etc. Oh , and to get you to "send money" .
Where is the global warming in Colorado , for instance ; and in Russia where people are freezing to death ?

No, I don't believe it's real. I believe it is the natural warming and cooling cycle of the Earth. How do you get that the government is using it as a scare tactic? Gore and his liberal friends isn't the government.

Im honestly more worried about the effect 400+ nueclear power plants and xyz coal plants most of witch are around the same areas on the earth have on the earths magnetic field. These power plants are probably the largest sorce of global warming and also effecting our ionosphere ect... If you take a battery and wrap around it AC voltage it will explode. The earth could be considered a DC battery compaired to the AC voltage we use in our power plants ect... Basicaly I dont see a realistic way we get out of this alive unless we act sooner then later and smarter then stupider...

Global warming is as real as it was when the earth came out of the last....what......... six or seven ice ages?

If I may speculate, there were no humans or SUV's or industry that caused warming then, and it's patently stupid to blame humans for this natural warming trend now.....unless you are a Bush hating Liberal, because according to those morons he is responsible for this current warming trend because he scoffed at the Kyosho tripe.

Those idiots should get a life.

The government has been trying to cover it up. So has the oil companys. So I doubt it is a scare tactic. It better be to some of the government before it is to late.

Media is using as scare tactic = ratings for them!!

I love blaming gov't for stuff, but I have to hand it to NASA. There are studies posted online of yrs and yrs of monitoring the phases of the ice caps. Plus alot of extremely educated guessing that leans the other way!

extremely, in uncomplicated terms a small share of the inhabitants has the medical understanding to totally understand, examine, and evaluate this undertaking. something human beings would desire to remember on them for our ideas. and because there's a huge consensus between respected scientists, i visit have faith their judgment. it is genuine that some scientists have a distinctive opinion. and that i accept as true with people who say that their findings could be evaluated and debated. in spite of the undeniable fact that, what i detect demanding is the simplistic "uncomplicated experience" idiocy spewed via some politicians: "all of us exhale carbon dioxide, so it may no longer be a pollutant." Or, "It grew to become into chilly final iciness, so international warming would desire to be a hoax."

I'm personally divided, I feel some of it is just the natural evolution of the world, it's doing what it has done since creation.
You can't deny though, that we are potentially accelerating it.
We like to believe that we are the smartest creature's on this earth, but tell me one other animal, who wilfully destroys their own environment as we do, destroying the habitat's of others. Certainly nothing on the scale we do.
