Ok so I don't watch that show but I saw a commerical a while ago and the commerical made it sound like Luke (the dude who owns the restaurant/diner) has cancer.????!? is that true?

No Luke is not going to have cancer. I think you got two spoilers mixed up from the previews. Lorelai's fatehr Richard is going to have a heath issue but I don't think we know exactly what its going to be. I don't think it will be cancer but I hear it is going to be serious. Luke is going to be involved in a custody battle to get his daughter April to stay in Stars Hollow and he asks Lorelai for help in writing him a reccomendation for the courts. They may have showed a couple quick clips in the commercial of the health issue and Luke comforting Lorelai but the two issues are not realted. I'm fairly confident that Luke will not have cancer.

No...him and Lorlei broke up, his daughters Mom is trying to move his daughter away but that about all the drama Luke is going through on the show...

No in the show he doesnt I watch every episode and nothing even close to that has happened. I dont know about off the show though.
