The Dallas Mavericks are the best team in the NBA.Which other team can say they can shut you down defensively and blow you out offensively. They are great on both ends of the court.For the past two years Dirk Nowitzki has finished Third in the MVP voting. If the Mavs continue he will definitely be number 1(only Gilbert Arenas may give him a struggle)

Yes, the Mavs have the best record, highest winning percentage, currently have the longest running winning streak of 12 wins(that could change tonight if the Spurs beat them) and are only the 20th team in history to have two winning streaks of 10-plus games in the same season AND they're not even halfway through the season.

yes. to the people who said show me the titles-- they are just now an up and coming team so the titles will start coming. i think that they are just such a good team- all of the players share the ball well and play for the team vs their own stat line. they are a good offensive team from the Nelly era and with AJ as the coach their defense is great too. i think that with the great basketball they are playing (12 game streaks) and the best record in the nba should be enough to prove that they are the best in the nba right now!

ill show u the title when we win it this year ok yes the mavs r and even though they dont have any titles they r now and in 10 years theyll have like 3 ya the record of 10+ in a season is 3 we have a good chance of 4 at this rate well lose 9 games last 30 we won 27. And dont say the phoenis suns and Spurs r cause i recall us beating them twice.

I think they have still yet to prove something and that is to win the finals. Already winning 12 games in a row is a remarkable feat, but there are still the underdog teams which may beat the mavericks....

Yes (they just tipped off agaisnt SA), now these is a team that you need a lot of effort to win they got Dirk and a great depth when he is struggling or he is injured.
