It's trying to update the changes on your iTunes. It won't harm your iPod. But I don't recommend unplugging it. You're computer may be slow, and the iTunes may be slow to pull up. To get it not to do that, go to summary on iTunes and uncheck the box where it automatically turns on the program. Then you just click iTunes if you want it open.

It charges your Ipod, as well as updating your songs, movies, podcasts,...etc...
If you want to get it off the screen, go to File ----> Eject.
It will eject your iPod from Itunes and allow you to unplug it and use it as you wish.

it still thinks its updating or something..
if u see a symbol on the top left corner of ur ipod ..dont unplug.
if its not there...its ok to unplug
