Try going to modeling agency like "Ford Models" that are well known. Not some hole in the ground. Don't get screwed though and fall in their trap. A lot of places will tell you you need to pay so much for head shot and all this stuff. You shouldn't pay! If they want you they will hire you and pay you. You shouldn't pay them! Never go alone too. That is dangerouse. Just remember modeling is a tough crule industry and you need the looks and the attitude. Get used to having people be critical of everything you do. If you really feel you have it, then maybe you should try out for "America's Next Top Model." Just don't give up!
If i were you though i would take classes to help me learn more about modeling. Find which kind of modeling you would like (runway, print, etc.) Finish up school, and then get into the industry.
Good Luck!

If you want to be a teenage model then I suggest you check the newspapers and internet more often. If you take a look there's bound to be auditions somewhere to pose for a girl's magazine or something, just head off to them. Maybe a bit of practise would be better first like attending a modelling college, there should be one in your area somewhere if you do a bit of research.
However... if your mum doesn't want you to be a model, just tell her you're serious and this is what you really want and it's your life. If you wait until you leave school you can do whatever you want and go to modelling college or something. Good luck!

Hi
Get some decent photos taken by going to a uni where they have a good fashion photography course and offering your services for free.
So you will have some nice pics and some experience.
Take the photos to model agencies. In the UK the main ones are Select, ModelsOne, Elite and Premier (I think!)
If you get rejected, give up. This is not really an industry where persevereance works. You just have to have the right look.

By being good looking, developing charismatic presence and staying thin. Why do you want it more than anything in the world? Do you want the money, the attention or to be treated like **** by pimps promoted to managers. Any of these can be gained from other careers such as business, a career in the clergy or prostitution. Look around before you settle on modelling.

look for modeling agencies in your area, make up a portfolio and send it to the agencies. Some modeling agencies even have courses you can take to give you some experience. It also depends on what type of modeling you want to do, you might not have the "correct ' features to be on the runway.

i think if u want to do something for YOU then s you should try it...unless your mum has really strong reasons then i dont think she should get in your way and if it would make you happy to at least try then you should! Have a look in magazines for competitions and in newspapers aswell, places like tesco (i know it sounds silly) but they need people occasionally and other shops like that do too, its a place to start, you can build from there. (you could be a hair model if you wanted to try that, look in hairdresser windows they sometimes have adverts up) if theres something you want to do then you should try to do it, so if u dont suceed then you can at least say you tried. I hope that helps you.

I want to be on Americas Next Top Model too! Well to be on ANTM you have to be skinny, tall, have a great personality and you have to have edgy looks, can't be nervous alot, and be ready for the competition. you also have to have all styles in you.
