I'm wanting to direct a play for my towns lil theatre but am looking for some more play options... Anyone know where i can find more play scripts or just list of books that are plays or maybe even movies.

Try MTI (Musical Theater International) they also carry straight plays. The have the rights to hundreds of shows, and so on their website you can browse their shows and others. You can also search shows based on cost, cast size, etc.

Both should have websites and both have large, extensive catalogs of plays with synop., number of characters, etc. Many well known plays and plays that became movies.

allmusicals.com is a nice resource.But for your purpose I would just do a search on yahoo.
