I think many people are socially unaware. They don't pay attention and see what people are really feeling. Don't you think eyes are the window to a persons soul? So why aren't we aware? We all are wrapped up in selfish living and consuming rather then taking care of each other. What do you think?

I do not think "we" are lonely. Perhaps there are "individuals" who are lonely.

It has less to do with the number of people and more to do with people that you can get along with. For example, I can be in a huge crowd but if I don't know anyone I will feel lonely. Human nature tends to be a bit...aggressive...so it's a bit hard to get along with people well.
That's, at least, what I think is the problem.

It is because there are a lot of persons who are anti-social and
they do not want to share their time with other people.

because were not just looking for friendship but that other part of ourselves that complete us .. our soul mate and only then will be not be lonely

we are lonely'cos we don't have good friends.People don't know the meaning of the word'FRIENDSHIP'
