I hooked the transformer up, hooked the first wires in to a and b and spliced the lights in and nothing. They are the ones from home depot, it comes with 4 little spotlights. Any ideas?

I have used a bunch of those and never had any problem-----suggest that you put the transformer (tsf.) on a work table and plug-in to 110v outlet and take one fixture and use it to test the tsf. to see that it is functioning properly____ if not--- return it to the H.D. store and start over with same test----- those wires are hard to seat into the black cable and sometimes you have to ice-pick a hole into the cable to make a good connection to the 12volt tsf and the lamp fixture____ check the connectors ,,,one at a time .........there are different lamp to cable connections .....some of them are better than others______ they will do a nice job of lighting your front steps or the driveway edge don't get discouraged -- end result is worth the labor........

It is probably where you connect the wire to the fixture. Those damn little clamping connections rarely work the first time, sometimes you have to reposition and even skin the wire a bit for them to connect.

specific, yet be careful approximately doing it. The fee present day shouldn't in any respect be better than 10% of the cellular's mAh score. maximum image voltaic lights furniture use rather low-means cells (generally six hundred mA), making 60 mA the optimal stated fee present day. maximum chargers are designed for a lot greater currents than this. you could might desire to locate a D-I-Y charging circuit which you will alter. I made one that is limited to 50mA by technique of technique of a small incandescent lamp of that score in series with the cellular holder.

Use a meter and see if it putting out voltage on the a and b terminals, if not take it back, also if it is putting out voltage check the bulbs, you can also check that the wire is good.
