SHUT the hell up! People marry for as many reasons as they divorce and nothing and no one should stay in a relationship that they are unhappy in. SOmetimes you try to make it work and sometimes there is no trying and its just over. I am HAPPILY divorced and if crazed enough to ever marry again. If you do me wrong or I become unhappy...I will be divorcing again. Now choke on that.

I agree - some people definately should NOT get married. They have these illusions about how wonderful their life is going to be "as soon as" they get married, then "as soon as" they have kids, then "as soon as" they get the big promotion, etc. etc. etc. It starts with a lot of unrealistic expectations, poor communication, and bad choices when choosing a spouse. Eventually, many of these marriages lead to divorce.
AND sometimes good people with good intentions get caught up in the moment and make poor decisions. These, too, often lead to divorce.

However, there are still people out there who take their vows seriously, who will do what they can to be there for their spouse and to love, honor, and cherish them as they promised. Yes, these people do still exist.

Grow up you say? Well hey I filed a divorce because I wanted to stay ALIVE. It's no fun being physically abused by a man twice my size. What would have been your recommendation? Stay and have my brains bashed out???????? You're the one that needs to grow up dude.

They get married in the lust stage and when they are each responsible for their own finances. Then they get married and the finances become a bone of contention.. then they get irritated at each other about who is spending whose money.. then poof, it's divorce time, because they each want to control their own money again.. a cycle of life.

Like it or not, people grow and change, even after they're married. Sometimes their partner doesn't change with them. Sometimes married people stop communicating and sometimes you just realize that the person you married isn't who you thought they were.

Sucks, but it does happen.

have you experienced it? because divorce is not about growing up it is about one or 2 people moving on because something major has been broken (trust, heart, fidelity etc). the stars seem to take it for granted since they spend so much money to get married and photo-ed then spend more divorcing and getting photo-ed....society, Internet, cell phones, prenupts....many temptations and not too much tolerance for BS. hopefully who ever in your life that is divorcing have thought about it and have talked to you about your feelings which seem hurt since you wrote growing up ..... more to it than that baby boy.....

THE REASON WHY PEOPLE GET DIVORCED IS, PEOPLE JUMP INTO A RELATIONSHIP WITHOUT REALLY KNOWING THE PERSON. THEY GET MARRIED , THEY GET TO KNOW THE OTHER PERSON,THEN THEY FIND OUT THAT THEY REALLY DON'T REALLY LOVE THAT PERSON AND WHT DO YOU GET, D-I-V-O-R-C-E. THAT IS WHY EVERYONE SHOUL TAKE THEIR RELATIONSHIPS SRECIOUS. GET TO KNOWTHAT PERSON BEFORE YOU TALK MARRIAGE.
