Wear silver or white gold jewelery with small details. If you wear a necklace make sure it has a SHORT CHAIN that does not touch the dress (stays on your coller bone) If you have a chain that goes past the "v-neck" of the halter dress it looks sloppy. Just keep everything plain and simple because your hair and make-up will also be over the top. Have fun at prom!

Too much around the neck can look cluttered, so I would opt for earrings. You can go dramatic on those, too, especially with an updo hairstyle. A bracelet works well too--it gives the eye a break from the long line of skin.

earings and bracelets. don't wear a necklace it will take away from the halter detail and make your neck look cluttered. maybe put a little shimmer on your chest though.
silver jewelry would look best since gold would kinda clash with the blue and black.

My wife likes to wear jewellry that comes from the victorian era, delicate silvers, with gems to match that lie close to the throat, just long enough to reach to the place where the throat meets at the torso. She has a great neck,OOPS, that bit private.

make suer your necklace doesnt go under your dress! because then people cant see it.
try pearls, a necklace that reflects light (like diamonds) a necklace that has a shade of blue, or one of those silver necklaces that have big pendants.
