at the moment the dallas mavericks are the strongest team in the NBA in the sense that they are the most diverse- they are basically Chelsea FC with a rich owner. However, they are not a championship team. the Los Angeles Lakers arent the strongest team in the NBA but they have the Ronaldinho of the NBA in Kobe Bryant who is the best player in the NBA. So the Lakers are gonna win it his year. they beat dallas

I expect to see the Spurs and Pistons in the finals. The Suns are a joke, every year they have a high powered offense, but they never do anything in the playoffs (They remind of the Colts). Steve Nash is great, but he is still a defensive liabliliity and tends to dissappear in the playoffs (He reminds me of Peyton Manning). The Spurs are legit and the Mavericks are close second. The Pistons have all the pieces to win another and they still play some of the best team basketball.
Gilbert Arenas has been on fire and the Wizards have no players coming off the bench. He makes up a majority of that teams offense, but he is a great team player and he plays defense.

Currently, the DALLAS MAVERICKS are the best team in NBA. They have the best record, highest winning percentage, currently have the longest running winning streak of 13 wins and are only the 20th team in history to have two winning streaks of 10-plus games in the same season AND they're not even halfway through the season. The best PLAYER in the NBA is clearly LEBRON JAMES!

So far the strongest team would probably be Dallas because of their 2 12-game winnning streak and the best player is Dwayne Wade.

Im gonna have to say D. Wade is the best player in the league at this time. LeBron James is one of the best, but I still think he needs a couple more years to be THE best, hes still a kid. But then again, my boy Steve Nash has gotten MVP 2 years in row now..
take your pick...thats the best in the league right now.
