What do you think?
Ladies, what about putting it in your purse? Does it take up a lot of room?
Would you choose it over a blackberry?
Thanks!!

I have a Sidekick II, and before that I had a Sidekick I. The size isn't an issue for me since I tend to carry larger bags. My fave is Kooba, and if you look them up online you'll see how large they are. In terms of today's bags, they'd be more of a medium.

The Sidekick I had some wear problems; after about one year, the keyboard letters scratched off and the rolling selector broke and wouldn't scroll.

The only issue I've had with the II is that the Pictures no longer work. It's basically a computer, and the computer must have shorted on me. It keeps telling me that I've taken as many pictures as I can, or memory full. And, I've deleted every picture on my phone. So, whatever.

The Sidekick III is out now. I would recommend it as long as you are using it for more pleasure. Blackberry is more complex to use and is best for those in business, like Sales. If you just want to be able to text your friends really quick, Sidekick is best.

And, check out T-mobile's plans online. You can order the phone and select the plan to see the total costs there. I'd recommend choosing the No-limit Internet/Text/Email plan for $20 along with your minutes plan. You may choose 1,500 minutes now, and when your 2nd monthly statement comes out, look and see on average how many minutes you used in the past two months. If only 1,000 a month or less, drop down to that monthly plan. Great thing about T-mobile, is that they let you drop down online. You don't have to make any annoying calls to the customer service line. And, it goes into affect immediately. You'd see a credit for it on your next billing summary.

Oh, and my twist screen has never broken, and I abuse it.

I don't like the Sidekick but I would choose it over the Blackberry. The Blackberry looks too businessy...although I don't recommend the Sidekick because of the twisting screen, it is easier to break.
