I'm a vegetarian so long as there is a slab of meat next to the vegetables.
I find by keeping this balance I am a happy man.

Yes.

Ovi-vegetarian=includes eggs, milk, yoghurt with my daily breads and grains; (fruits and veggies are eaten 10X/day).

Every flu season, ppl around me get sick. They sneeze, cough, blow their noses around me. I open doors with the unclean knobs that these sick ppl use with their unwashed hands. My father is sick right now with a bad chest cold. My brother's had a nagging cold that's lingered, now, for 3 weeks. My best friend is constantly congested and coughs around me. My husband complains about his cold and begged me last night to find the best smoking cessation remedy so that he doesn't go through cravings, especially while he tries to get over his sickness. I tell him to be aggressive with a treatment of eating plain yoghurt and eating 4 cloves of garlic every day while eating 10 servings of fruits/veggies a day and staying away from simple sugars, caffeine, and hydrogenated vegetable oils.

Sickness around me, but I am not affected. Why?

In my opinion and experience, such a diet coupled with RIGOROUS weight training and cardio makes for a long and disease free life.

I invite you to try this life :)

Peace...

No, but I heard if you are one, you might be able to be more smarter.
Check the last (I think) month's news on Yahoo, or search Yahoo! News - Veggie IQ (I made it up - try something else like smart vegetables or whatever you type related to vegetarian smartness)

So no i'm not a vegetarian. For those who are, cheers and good for you!!

Yes. Being a vegetarian is hard stuff. I dont eat meat because animals dont deserve to die for human consumption. It should be against the law. Many will debate but bring it on.
