you should look at the tires, they should have a psi rating on them that will give you a range, it largely depends on the load (weight) that the vehicle is carrying (vehicle weight and cargo)

depends on the tyres fitted. On mine ( A Lunar Solar Eclipse 615 Twin axle) I have commercial van tyres, these run at 45psi and are much better than the "normal" tyres that get fitted. The `vans handling is much better , not so prone to blow-outs and it`s much more stable when towing at legal French motorway speeds (these are dependent on what rating tyres are fitted !)

Always use the figure in the opening of the door, the sidewall lists maximum pressure the tire will hold.

The recomended tire pressure is printed on the side of the tires. But I allways run mine at 35p.s.i.

all you do is look on the side of the drivers side door...there should be stickers alongside that say blah, blah PSI....most cars are at about 32 PSI....then when you pump the air in your tires, take the air pressure reader and use that to read the tire pressure.
