I am wearing black pants with a 2" heel. The top of my foot shows very little standing up. When I sit you obviously see more. I have a pair of black socks (a shade ligher). I feel more comfortable with no socks. What do I wear. Socks or no socks.

I would suggest no socks. Better this way.

Definitely no socks. When you are wearing any kind of heel and the top of your foot is showing, I think it is always best to go sock-less. If it's really cold, or you'd rather not go "bare", then pantyhose are another option!

NO SOCKS!!!!
1) Even if you can only see them when your sitting and not standing it's still tacky....
2)Socks and heels aren't a good combination
3)While you walking around you foot might slip in the heel and you could fall! No one wants a party crasher! =]
4)If you need to wear something.....wear hose!
[[By the way.....2 in. is a lot of heel! I'm glad you can walk in them! lol]]

With. I have three young ladies. All three say with, 'cause we all stay in Michigan & now a days it's cold. Two of them say they wear socks with most all shoes all year round. M says "the matching pair of socks" don't have to match the rest of the outfit. As long as the sox are clean and good looking. You don't to show off miscolored holey sox...

definitely no socks.....whenever the top of your foot is showing, with any type of shoe besides flip flops, you should not where socks at all or with a closed toe shoe you could wear knee high pantyhose! hope that helps
