No, I don't think so. Now that the Schumacher-Ferrari combination is gone I doubt that there will be any domination. I expect quite interesting F1 seasons. Moreover it is expected that the engines' development is stopped for a few years and that will give the other weaker F1 teams to catch up a bit and compete for the title.
I guess that if McLaren don't fix their reliability problems this season Kimi will win the title even before the end of the season or he will just fight for it with Massa (Ferrari domination in other words). But for the next years I just expect great races and quite interesting no-domination seasons.

Lets get a perspective. Kimi was driving for Mclaren for 5 Years and for two years he could have won. Everyone says he overdrives the car. He is fast no doubt but in a sense, I feel that he will be one of those immensly talented guys who never won the title types. Alonso is more methodical, smart, quite fast and saves his car.
I dont see anyone in the horizon challenging Alonso with his package. There are a number of equally talented drivers out there without the package, Webber, Trulli, Fisichella.
But to dominate you need to be special. Kimi is , Alonso is smart.

Kimi. It is his time. He is a better driver than Alonso, just never had a competitive car. He has proven this when it looked like he had a good car, but then had the engine blow.
Alonso - Overrated lucky champion. If Michael's engine didn't give up in the 2nd to last race in 2006 he would have been champion. He needs to mature, to become a better champion. Is attitude in 2006 was not what a champion is made of.

To be honest, as a Ferrari fan I would love to say "Kimi's". But, it's a lot of things that matter. First of all the car. It's depending on it's engine, it's tyres etc. Secondly, the other teams. Competition does matter.

Kimi and Alonso are both very good drivers. But I prefer Kimi's driving cause he is steady and tough.

It's too early to start talking about domination, I think. We have just witnessed one of the greatest dominations in Formula 1 in Michael Schumacher. Dominations like his don't come that often. We should wait and see who wins 2007, and 2008 then we can get a clearer picture of the state of Formula 1 (in terms of who is dominant). Having said that, if Alonso wins the title again in 2007, I guess you could say Alonso is dominating.....I suppose winning 3 titles in a row would count as a domination?

I think Fernando is a better driver than Kimi. Yes, it's true that Kimi is extremely fast on a competitive car. But winning a title (not just a race) is much more than just being the most aggressive drivers on the track and setting up the fastest lap. You also got to be smart, which in this case means saving up your tyres, your fuel, and maintain your engine. What's the point of winning a race and on the next race you blow up your engine? Kimi, in my opinion, maybe the fastest driver on the track right now. But Fernando is a genius. if you look at the 2005 season, mcLaren Mercedes was a way faster car than renault. But who won the world title? It was Fernando.

I think it will be very interesting to watch, as each has joined a new team which have been in the top 3 for many years. Ferrari will have a huge hole to fill for Schuey now he's retired & whether Kimi can fill it is going to be good to watch. He has the driving ability but perhaps not the focus or ambition.

Alonso though I hope he struggles like hell as he became mega arrogant in the last 2 yrs
basically 200t WDC & WCC were handed on a plate to him . He did well in 2006, but I must admit Schumacher in my opinion should have got the title

Kimi is a good driver and will be in a good car, but alonso is a driver like schumi , who wants to win and will go any length to turn a season into a great season. I know its too early but Mclaren- mercedes will be more competetive than it has been in the last couple of years

The domination of neither. It will be a year filled with surprises and full of the unexpected. Count on unpredictable winners and a surprise winner of the WDC.

2007 will be a much more balanced year. All 3 top teams going through severe changes, Ferrari going through the most severe and harmful ones. Chance for the others to catch up quickly. I'd say that it will be a Renault vs. McLaren year, but watch out for Honda, BMW and Red Bull.
