Well...
I think you meant white. There are different colors in light. If you see something red, it appears red because it absorbs all the orange, yellow, green, blue and purple light, and reflects the red. See how that works? When something appears white, it means it reflects all the colors. Water in general reflects all the colors in the light, which makes it look white. That's why lakes reflect things above them too, or look blue to reflect the sky. So when the snow melts, the white doesn't really go anywhere, it just now the different light colors are absorbed into the grass or whatever is under it. Does that make sense? Tell me if it doesn't...

Do you mean where does the "white" go when the snow melts? Well the snow is frozen when it falls and as it melts the snow goes through a molecular change thus turning to water. The "white" happens due to the molecules being in the frozen state.

The white of snow is caused by scattering of white light by the transparent ice crystals that make up the snow. When the ice melts to liquid water, it no longer has the structure to scatter light in the same way so the water does not appear white.

The white is the spirit of the snowflake. As the snow melts, it's spirit goes back to the clouds to make more snowflakes.

My daughter liked that one best.

Where does the white go? Away. Water is clear/blue, snow is white.
