In general, it is not hard. Getting the basic are the most difficult. Getting a clean one note sound and a clean chord, to me were the most difficult. If I let my facial muscles get lazy, I still lose the clarity. I play mainly blues but there are other genres I play as well. Figure out the key the songs are in and play along with the CD. Great way to learn. If youever decide to play teh song in another key, you just switch harps. The positions will be in the same place of course.

It's not too hard, I just kind of picked it up by myself and messed around with it for a while. So harmonicas come with a little instruction like paper that tells you about the notes and the breathing in and out. But is you just play around you should be able to get it. (Also the guy who runs my music store said that to learn/ to start with you should get a harmonica that is in C)

It's not hard, but it takes time. I play the harmonica and to learn my first song it took me weeks, about a half of an hour a night i would practice. It may seem like your not getting anywhere but then all the sudden the song clicks and when you are playing it, its very relaxing and great entertainment for other. So to answer your question, no its not hard, but it does take a lot of practice to play songs.

It's very easy to learn the basics (use your mouth to only play one note at a time and figure out where they all are.) But it is hard to play sharps and flats.

You can't say yes or no simply.
If you have the confidence that you can really play it, you can have the skills.
Don't be so negative, If you train yourself, maybe, you can master the harmonica.
You should let someone teach you to play it. Or attend music class that teaches how to play harmonica.
Try it! Maybe it's the one that is best for you.
