Yea, I had painful gas and I couldn't fart about 2 1/2 months into my first pregnancy. I didn't know anything, and I hurt so bad I thought I was having a miscarraige. I went to the ER. The doctor examined me, had me take a non stress test, and then told me to lay there on my back with my knees bent for awhile. After about 5 minutes I farted SO big! I felt much better, and then I went home.
I had painful gas through both my pregnancies. I learned to avoid foods like cheese and pepperoni that could bring on the bloating. Also, TUMs became one of my best friends (it works for heartburn in the 7th and 8th month too)!!

I had that problem with the first pregnancy. I had been trying to drink more milk and eat more milk products, but just couldn't tolerate them. When I started getting calcium from other sources and cut out the milk, the gassiness slowed WAY down. Also couldn't eat tomato based foods like pizza or spaghetti sauce. Perhaps something in her diet is making it worse. Or maybe it's the dog. ;)

What's your question? Doesn't everyone occasionally have gas and farting?

Oh yeah, real bad. Especially when she gets those pig-out cravings and eats for three hours straight. Drove my husband right out of the room. Whatever you do, don't say anything! She already knows it's bad.

HAHAHA...Oh yeah. I remember my birps were a whole lot louder and they would come so quickly that I couldn't control them. My farts and even BM's smelled foreign to me like it was someone else's body. Ahhhhh...the wonderful world of having a baby. :-)

Natural, and common. Very inconvienent and embarrasing. But inevetable in most cases. I just blame it on my hubby, he doesnt mind.
