My birthday is coming up so i wanted to tell my friends something specific i want without telling them directly but if i told them in the face it will be like kinda...rude

just slyly bring that u were with ur mum or relative and they asked what sorta stuff u wanted 4 ur bday and name the stuff u wanted...Then ur telling them with out them thinking your telling them (no wat i mean)!!!!

Yes it would be rude, the best thing to do, is wait until they ask you, what you would like for a gift.
Give them several options, the gift you may want, could be too expensive for them to give you.
If it's somthing reasonable, then you may get it.
However, my suggestion, is say nothing, and look for another way to get what you want. Get a job, find some way to earn the money to buy it yourself.
Besides it will make you feel good about yourself, that you earned what you wanted. That's something to be proud of.

go shopping with them and really make sure they see you eyeing what you want it might work
