Its hard to pull of leg warmers and high heels...?

I mean i'm like 6'1 when i do this, but i LOVE high heels, and i have these sweet shiny black ones which look great with my hot pink leg warmers and a skirt... but for some reason, i dont think i look good in it, i mean it looks good alone, and i love the fashion about it, i got long thin legs and my guy (and girl) friends say i look hot in the high heels and leg warmers, but i don't think i do... what do u ppl think about the whole fashion idea??

Well if this was 1985 and I was rocking the flock of seagulls hairdo then i would say you are one foxy chick, but since this is 2007 I think this needs to be updated. Take a que from Christina A on this one and pair your patent leather heels with a pair of jeans. She always has the faded shreaded pair to give off the rock vibe but you can do whatever matches your style. The hot pink leg warmers should be burned at the risk you might wear them ever. If they were a pale color I would say you can wear them under a pair of boots with just the top sticking out, but since they are in a day glow color they need to be tossed out with the acid wash jeans of the early 90s and the old can of aqua net under the sink.
I would also think about ever trusting your friends or BFs style advice again. Dear god letting you walk out of the house like that is a mortal sin in the world of fashion and is never forgivable. Instead think about what qualities they liked about it. Your 6'1" and prob have great legs. You should rock a goucho pant or more skirts to show them off. A heel is a great match to those since it lifts the butt and to go one step further do the pointed toe.


Jokes, laughs, and tears aside.... I would never let one of my friends leave the house like that... well maybe if it was an 80's party.

lol I just bought leg warmers but I don't have the heels yet! my mom won't let me where high heels leg warmers and a short skirt out of the house... I don't know why lol but I think it's a totally cute look!! go for it!

the combination is really good! and you should wear anything you like! no matter what anyone says. thin legs really pulls off high heels and i bet legwarmers. the whole fashion idea is good but the main deciding is up to you. though i say that whatever you think looks good on you, can be made to look good on you. so keep on wearing them, doesnt matter how tall you are or how thin your legs are, just wear whatever you like, whenever!=)

I think this would look bad *** if it sticks along your usual style. Going out like that just out of the blue when you tend to be a blue jeans and t girl might get you a few looks and you might feel a little self conscience.
Other than that, I bet if I saw you out I'd think you were adorable. I love when people wear not the average look. I'm more impressed when I see that on someone than your typical cookie cutter girl.

If the weather is cold, I would wear something to keep your upper body really warm. On cold days in NY (when it's not snowing), i actually love wearing my 5 inch stilettos and pairing it with my short business skirts (no hose). I get so many complementary looks

I think that sounds very cute and a very good fashionable idea. People are just saying that they don't like it because its out of their comfort zone and its not the usual jeans and a tank top go for it sounds very cute!!!!!

I think it's a good look. It could look really good on you since you're so tall. I'm 5'0", so I doubt it'd look good on me. lol. Just do whatever is comfortable for you. You can't dress to please other people, that just defeats the purpose of being different.
