I love guitar songs like "Hotel California" and "house of the rising sun". What other songs sound as sweet and extremely well played? What are your favorites?

I like Kaki King alot. She's an acoustic guitarist.

Dire Straits have some good guitar licks but also a lot of vocals. Of course Hotel California and Rising Sun do too.

This thread can be considered flagged as I love this sort of thing. Look forward to what people reccomend

Look at anything in Eric Clapton's Unplugged album

also like Fleetwood Mac's 'Never Going Back Again'

Also, the opening acoustic guitar of Dire straights Romeo and Juliet is always a favorite.

Check out "To Live is to Die" by Metallica...very great mix of the ways to use a guitar...make sure you listen to the whole song...it will give you chills. There is a just a portion of that you may like though but I assure you that piece is well worth it.

"Stardust" and "Blue Eyes crying in the Rain" by Willie Nelson. "Sweet Baby James" and "Something in the way she Moves" by James Taylor. "Love is on the Way" by Saigon Kick. "More than words" by Extreme. Those are just some off the top of my head.

Days of the New............!!!!!!!!!
There music is all acoustic.......and amazing. There's no one else like them.........I would say check out there "yellow" album first and if you like it than check out the rest. The vocals may be a little more than you like.
It's like taking eagles, dead can dance, and alice in chains, and smashing them all together.
