I need to get my nephew a graduation gift. Any ideas?

He has an ipod and likes technology. He is a bright student and does like money I guess. I want to get him something that he can keep the rest of his life. Or update at least. My budget is pretty little but i guess can go up to 300 dollars or so. If any bigger suggestions then please tell still! Thank you so much.

You could get him a nice watch. Some watches are preety slick go that be the technology. On the back you could ingrave it with his name and the graduation date. That'll be a real rememberence. Plus to think about it it's only 8th grade. In 4 years that's another graduation. get him something big then.

If he likes to read, get him a set of books - the Harry Potter series begins when Harry is eleven and continues into his teens. I read them all in my twenties and loved them. Or there's the classic Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger, which is loved by high school students everywhere. Salinger's short stories are fun too, and most likely won't be assigned reading in high school.
I suppose it would help if we had a little more information about your nephew - but it's always a possibility that you yourself don't have that information, either.

Well, what's the price range? If you know your nephew doesn't own an Mp3 Player of some kind, you could try getting him an iPod Shuffle (the 2nd generation is $80 or so for 1GB of space). You can simply get him a debit card if you don't know what he likes or owns.

i think, since he is graduating from 8th grade, and moving to high school, get him something he can use in high school, something to keep him organized.
