should they have punished him and made him suffer like all the people he killed. yes those people he killed didn't have a right to be killed. If you ask me if so many people were scared of him then why didn't they take care of him sooner?

His punishment came in the form of humility when they took his rule away....when they found him in a hole in the ground.....when he found out his sons were killed....when he didn't have his family to comfort him...or his riches anymore....when his subjects who were terrified of him spit on him....and finally when they told him he would die...no more tantrums..just death....If we are to be God like...and someone has to be put to death...we just allow them to die ..we do not torture them before hand. That would make us barbaric like him...He did not deserve to breathe another breath.

his sons were killed, his country was taken, he was imprisoned, then mocked as he died. What more do you want? Besides, unless you lived in Iraq under his rule (brutal, no doubt) what do you know about what he did, or the suffering he caused? Brutality happens in every country on this planet- the only reason you focus on Saddam is because the TV has told you to.

What makes you think he didn't suffer? He was stripped of just about everything he had. He was found lying in a hole like a rat. Think of all the other events leading up to his death. Are you thriving to be like Saddam ?

He was already suffering. His little ego had taken quite a beating. For a megalomaniac like that, it was worse than death. No one should've sunk to his level. Look where his behavior got him.

No they shouldn't have. Doing stuff like that gives people an excuse to attack us. (9/11) He was going to die anyway and we would be sinking to the levels of the terrorists if we did that.

He should have been given a lethal injection. Drain cleaner, battery acid, something like that.
