I like "Babe's" because it's shorter and straight to the point, easy to understand.
While Shakespeare's is more complex making it more difficult for some people to understand.
They both say the same thing, it's just easier to get what Babe was saying & meaning!

Good question. Both quotes make one think and not just about the words that are being said. In Shakespeare's quote it starts very boldly by calling our doubts traitors, but finishes rather poetically. Babe Ruth's quote is easier to understand because it is so straight forward and kind of has a "you can do it" feel to it. Both are very good quotes but I'd have to say that I prefer Babe Ruth's to Shakespeare's because although I believe they're equally as powerful, Babe Ruth's just feels a bit more personal.

Both are good quotes and in a very general way they say the same thing. I would vote for the Shakespeare one just because I can relate more to doubts and winning, than baseball.

Good question

i would go with the shakespeare.. it is more poetic, and i think it says more about how doubt and fear can stop us from achieving everything we could...

i should know, happens to me all the time! which is why i ain't famous :)
