because we are americans and that stuff offends us, why dont you know that. dubbed naruto is gay any way, espicially since they take out nose bleeds but leave in the cotton to soak up the blood after word, it's like why the hell are those their

Blood, gore, extreme violent, adult language, violent references, adult content references, and dialouge changes of the original dialouge of the story is always cut, edited and changed. There are 2 reasons for this. 1 is that much of the anime the company broadcasting it in the US wants to target as many people as possible in the target ranged (children) and to do this they have to meet the broadcasting standards set up for the age range (when a show starts it usually says the age range suitable to watch). Suitability for a younger audiance means they have to edit out violent parts to be able to broadcast it on television for the targeted audience and as stated it's thought that children can't handle it.
The second reason is due to americanization. Again to make the most profits off of anime the company trys to target the largest amount of people and to do that means 'americanizing' anime to be suitable for american viewers , which means changing the original dialouge, changing names, and editing out scenes.
So pretty much the reason why stuff is taken out is so that the broadcasting company and liscensing company can gain the most money by making it acceptible to be viewed by a larger audience and if it targets children it has to tone it down to follow broadcasting regulations. =/

Its like that with a lot of animes when they came to america.. they take out the blood, gore, love/lust.. basically all the good stuff lol.

Because they want it to target children. and feel that they cannot handle the gore and blood. In truth it's kind of sad. but unfortunatly this is a part of dubbing and editing.
