my height is 5'5? Am i short? im like almost the shortest person in my class.

I think your somewhere in the middle - like me. I'm 13 and 5'4, and I used to be one of the tallest kids in the 6th grade, but when 8th grade rolled around, I found out so many people grew. There are so many people short than me, but there are about the same number of people taller than me. So, your kind of short, but taller compared to other teens.

Don't worry sweetie, you'll grow and if you don't then be happy with who you are! Short has it's perks too even if you don't think so right now. But I'm sure you will grow a couple inches before you have hit your peak. One of my close friends is 5'2 at age 17 ... no you are not short.

nooooo not at all. im fairly short, little under 5 feet, and im not even the shortest in my class!! besides, i'd rather be short than tall!

Your 5"5 at 13, I'm 5"2 at 45yrs old, I think your tall. Being short isn't so bad.

no. u are not really tall but u are the size of the average american woman. so u must have some uber tall classmates for you to think that you are short. im 14 and 5'4'' and the only people who think im 'short' are really tall people. soo be HAPPY
